Stardew Valley Version 1.6 is finally out on the Nintendo Switch. It has been a long time waiting for the Nintendo Switch version gets the 1.6 version update. The new update is actually Version 1.6.9. This version includes multiple new festivals. First part of update is the Three-Day Event that happens in the desert during spring (only accessible if you repaired the bus). Also in the desert, there are two mini fishing festivals and an environmental event in the summer.

Second part of the update is a new farm layout – The Meadowlands Farm. This farm contains a chewy blue grass that animals love. Also, you will get a coop with two chickens right out of the gate.

A new “Mastery” system is also in this update. This “Mastery” system is tied to the Mastery cave, which can only be accessed after maxing out all of your skills. Also, a bookseller has a few updates to it as well. In this update, you can have multiple pets, but only if you have your hearts maxed out with your first pet (also, you can put hats on your cats and dogs).

1.6.9 update also adds the new Lost Items Shop, which you can buy back items that you have lost. Legendary fish can now be placed in ponds and produce roe. Items that dropped in water won’t just disappear anymore, they float for a brief period of time.

Not all of the things listed here is in the update version 1.6.9, since this is a huge update. You can check out this link here for all of the updates: https://www.stardewvalley.net/stardew-valley-1-6-9-changelog/
