Nintendo of America has stated that Donkey Kong Land from the Game Boy era is now available on the Nintendo Switch Online. I never did play this game because I never had a Game Boy because I like bigger screens.

Description: Cranky Kong challenges you to find a banana hoard – again.
Cranky Kong doesn’t think Donkey Kong has provem himself to be a hero yet. So, he decides to work out a deal to the closest villain that he knows. K. Rool and his enemies have hidden bananas in new places across Donkey Kong Island in another attempt to outwit the best-friend duo. The only response is for Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong to go off on another adventure.

I guess they are gearing up towards Donkey Kong Country Returns HD which comes out on January 16th, 2024.
