Fishing Derby was one of the rare sports games I enjoyed playing on Atari 2600. I don’t have the game, but I do remember playing it when I was a kid back in the days. Not a whole lot of sports games on Atari 2600 that are good, but fishing was one of them that were. The objective is to just get a high score in the game which is 99. You can play with a CPU or a friend. When I was a kid, I did actually went real fishing since there was a pond with fish in it nearby, and fished sometimes on weekends. I do actually like to play this game from time to time as well.
