Today in Terraria 1.4.5 Gameplay Highlights, I found a new whip weapon to use, and found more new enemies (mostly slimes), and I defeated a boss today. I found a new whip weapon called Cobwhip, which is basically made of cobwebs, wood, and you have to use a loom to create it. This whip is basically to use for pre-hard mode weapon. I tested it out on slimes and stuff like that, which did pretty good job of it. This weapon also does damage over time with surrounding enemies, but not much damage, maybe 2 or 3 hits. I am going to be trying to find more weapons (especially new ones) to try out soon.

Speaking of slimes, I found a couple of new slimes today as well. I found the slimes are Dirt Slime, Marble Slime, and a Conveyor Slime. These are the three slimes I found that are new today. Yesterday, I did found a Cloud Slime, which basically jumps a lot higher than normal slimes, and it’s a white color slime. I haven’t found any other types of enemies that aren’t slimes that are new in this update yet, but hopefully will soon.

I have also defeated my first boss today, which the first time, I wasn’t totally prepared for it. The famous Eye of Cthulhu decided to show up randomly first time, which I thought I was safe because I had 200 life. Guess the update did something to that to make it not safe anymore. The second time, I built an arena for the boss, and defeated it with potions (speed, melee), and used Gold Bow with arrows. Took a while to defeat it, but I got it defeated. I had Silver Armor Set on as well, I was about to get Gold Armor Set before the boss showed up again. Going to be doing more of the same tomorrow.
