Today, Nintendo has announced that Minecraft has officially coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 27, 2026. There is an upgrade path if you already have the Nintendo Switch 1 version of the game. The upgrade path is unknown for rather it’s going to be free or a paid version as of right now. I admit, I haven’t played Minecraft for quiet awhile now. I beat the game already, after that, there’s really no point of playing besides building stuff if that is your thing. Why did it take this long to get an upgrade path to the Nintendo Switch 2? Who knows why. This upgrade will have “Vibrant Visuals,” improved lighting, fog, and more. Even the Super Mario Mash-up pack that is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version is getting the “Vibrant Visuals” upgrade.
