Today, Terraria Calamity Mod is shutting down. The game will still run at some sort of state, but it is running by a skeleton crew right now to get the updates out that have other updates broke the game. Calamity mod is what made Terraria even better because it adds a lot more enemies, bosses, music and more to the game. Grant it that the original Terraria game is fun to play, but Calamity mod is what makes it a little harder but more fun. It’s kind of like a DLC for the game, but it’s free. You can play Terraria for free actually without any mods if you download tModLoader on PC (PC Only). The Terraria game itself is already almost done updating as it stands today anyway, perhaps with a few more updates to go. I have beat the Terraria Calamity mod year or two ago, and even streamed it.
