Minecraft Live was live today, and tons of new stuff has been announced. First in Minecraft, they have added Ice Caves as a new biome. They have added ice crystals in the ice biome as well. So, if you put a torch where the ice crystals are, and especially on top of you, those ice crystals could kill you. There is also a new mob called the Frozen Zombie who can actually throw ice balls at you if you aren’t too careful. Also, they can actually freeze you if they melee you so many times. Another thing that they have added is that you can now craft freezing potions, which you can throw at other things as well.

The new Minecraft is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 27, 2026, which has updated the graphics which are similar to Xbox and PS5 consoles. Lastly, they have added new mob called The Sift. This mob looks like a blue bunny, but they haven’t shown nothing much about it just yet. This The Silt will also appear on Minecraft Dungeons 2.

Speaking of Minecraft Dungeons 2, which is going to be released on September 29, 2026, they have show some extended gameplay. While it stayed true to it’s original core, but they did some changes that are welcome to the community. I actually have played Minecraft Dungeons in the arcade room where I lived, it was pretty fun, in my opinion.
