The rumor is that the next-gen console that is currently being called Project Helix is going to be costing between $1200 – $1800. It has been said that it will be able to play PC games as well as Xbox games. While there is no report on an actual release date, the reports have been circulating around 2028. However, the next hardware release from Xbox has been reported to be a handheld device that is set to be arriving for the 2027 holiday season. We still don’t know the price for the handheld device as well, but I can imagine that it’s going to be a costly device. The reason why the next-gen console is going to cost that much is because of mostly of the prices of RAM that keeps on going up, and as well as other components. If it’s going to be around $1800, it might be DoA (Dead on Arrival) for average people that doesn’t have a lot of money to spend on. Also, you could just get a PC as well if it’s going to cost that much. If it’s going to cost that much, no thank you from me. Let me know in the comments below if you are going to be buying one.
